FEBRUARY
WINTER WALK
Around the beautiful countryside of Waddesdon, near Aylesbury, with a pub lunch in one of Waddesdon’s two pubs. Details of the walk and pub are not yet finalised,
but the date will be Sunday 21st February. Please put this in your in your diary. I will send details as soon as possible
MAY
BLENHEIM PALACE PICNIC
Bring and share a picnic lunch in the park, admission £10. Tickets include access to 2000 acres of parkland, the formal gardens, free train rides on the miniature train to the Pleasure Gardens, including the Marlborough Maze, the Butterfly House and the Lavender Garden. Date to be announced.
JULY/AUGUST
OXFORD JAZZ CRUISE
3 hours cruising listening to the Boulevard Jazz Swing Band. The boat leaves from and returns to Donnington Bridge in Oxford with plenty of free parking. The date has not been finalised for 2010, but will probably be a Sunday at the beginning of August. These cruises are very popular, and early booking essential. As soon as I have the date, I will let you know. The cost last year was £20.
A few people have mentioned that they would welcome a Christmas event for 2010. If this appeals to you, and you have any ideas regarding type of event, venue etc, please email me. Hope to see you this year – stay warm!

In addition to our schedule of social events, Heads2gether will now be holding regular informal meetings for anyone affected by head and neck cancer. Family & friends are most welcome. Meetings will be held about every 6 weeks.
