Gary Moore has written a very graphic account of his two and half year fight with head and neck cancer. He admits that he probably should have paid more attention to some early issues he had. It might have made a difference to the severity of the treatment he has undergone. Gary has never written a book before this one and the result is astonishingly gripping and full of emotion. In this book you feel that Gary is having a chat with you. You won’t forget it.

For every book sold £1 will be donated to Oracle Cancer Trust.

In the early hours of Thursday, September 26th 2019, Steven Henstridge underwent a bilateral double lung transplant – in other words both of his lungs were replaced. This book is the story of what Steven remembers of the extraordinary journey to his recovery. It is also a story of one man’s determination to recover and the support he received from his family, friends and his medical team. Once you start this book, you will not be able to put it down.

I first met Stephen a couple of months ago as he was recovering from treatment for Head and Neck cancer. This was related to the HPV virus which was present (undetected) in his new lungs. I suspect a new book about this episode in his life will follow.
